Marcel Bich (1914-1994) was an Italian-born, French manufacturer who co-founded Bic, the world's leading producer of ballpoint pens, lights, and razors. Bich was also a keen sailor. He funded four campaigns to compete in the trials to select a challenger for the America's Cup in 1970, 1974, 1977, and 1980. He was inducted, posthumously, into the America's Cup Hall of Fame in 1998.
